Jewish Life

Jewish life at Hillel is vibrant and flourishing. Our Friday services - Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox - offer a place to worship that is comfortable and welcoming. During High Holidays we offer Egalitarian and Orthodox services. Then there's Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Purim, Passover, Tu B'Shvat, Lag B'Omer...
And students plan special events around Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Commemoration Day) and Yom Haatzma'ut (Israel Independence Day), and other commemoration days. We encourage you to join in the planning for any of these days.
We also hope you will explore your Jewish roots through one of our 1-credit courses offered each semester on a variety of topics.
And if there is any way we can help you explore options for travel, work, or study in Israel, please ask. We have an Israeli Fellow on staff each year to be that connection to Israel for you.
