KOLOT

Singing anything from Naomi Shemer to Cee Lo Green, Kolot has been blowing the yarmulkes off of UMass Amherst for over a decade! After its creation around 2001, this eclectic group of co-ed a cappella singers has established itself within the UMass a cappella community as well as in the greater Jewish a cappella community. Kolot performs regularly at Hillel events, in the surrounding Jewish community, as well as secular school-wide events. Kolot prides itself on versatility, using a variety of music styles for a variety of audiences. Recently, Kolot performed at a social justice open-mic night, and generally enjoys the opportunity to sing for the betterment of the world. Kolot is excited for another great semester or Jewish a cappella.
